Bandwagon fallacy

● What majority believe is true

● The “ bandwagon” fallacy gives us an idea that a waggon is carrying us to a place where a band is playing, come and sit in the waggon and join us without considering the logic and reasoning.

● The justifications are not focussed.

● If so many people are doing it, it must be true. When we find a new idea, we believe it on the grounds of popularity and give it a very high level of belief.

● Example: Nowadays people are interested in buying this car, I should also buy this whether it suits me or not.
