What is Tay–Sachs disease?
Tay–Sachs disease is a hereditary condition that causes the elimination of nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord.
Infantile Tay–Sachs disease is the most prevalent kind, which appears about three to six months of age and causes the baby to lose the ability to turn over, sit, or crawl.
What are the symptoms and signs of Tay-Sachs disease?

- reduction in the capacity to turn over, sit, or crawl.
- Later:
- seizures
- loss of hearing
- a lack of ability to move
